Privacy Policy

Effective September 6, 2026. This page explains what information STARR collects on this website and how we use it—in plain language.

Who we are

STARR Quality Logistics, LLC (“STARR,” “we,” “us”) is a Cleveland, Ohio dispatch and professional-training business. Contact: admin@starrqualityoh.com.

What information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

  • Account email used for secure OTP (one-time code) sign-in.
  • Academy progress such as completed lessons, quiz answers, and related course state when you are an approved student or tester.
  • Exam attempts including scores and critical-miss records for the final Academy assessment.
  • Contact form details such as name, email, optional phone, topic, and message.
  • Partner / carrier request details such as business name, representative, MC/USDOT numbers, contact info, equipment types, and operating notes.
  • Carrier onboarding details (for approved partners) such as business preferences, equipment notes, and driver contact preferences entered in the secure portal.
  • Document metadata and uploads you submit through the secure portal to the carrier-documents storage area (for example operating authority or insurance certificates)—never W-9 contents stored as banking or SSN data.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, routing numbers, or card numbers through this website. Card payments, when public enrollment opens, will be handled by Stripe Checkout—STARR will not store full payment-card details.

Why we use it

We use the information to respond to inquiries, evaluate partnership requests, operate the secure portal, deliver Academy training and certificates of completion, protect accounts, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information.

Where it is stored

Application data is stored in Supabase (database and authenticated storage). Email delivery for notifications may use our configured email provider. Access to private portal routes requires authentication.

Retention and deletion

We keep records as long as needed for the business relationship, training records, security, and legal obligations. You may request access to or deletion of personal information we hold by emailing admin@starrqualityoh.com. We will verify the request and respond as reasonably practical for a small business.

Security (high level)

We use authenticated portal access, one-time email codes (no password stored by STARR for OTP login), row-level access controls in Supabase where configured, rejection of prohibited sensitive fields, and private document storage for carrier uploads. No online system is perfectly secure; please protect your email inbox and never share OTP codes.

Children and age

STARR Academy and carrier services are professional programs intended for adults 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as the site and services change. The effective date above will be revised when we post material updates.
