Meet the founder

I know what the road
asks of a driver.

I’m the founder of STARR Quality Logistics, but before anything else, I’m a mother of five beautiful daughters and a truck driver with nearly seven years of experience on the road.

When I entered trucking, I did not see many women behind the wheel—especially women of color. Once I became part of the trucking community, I discovered how many incredible women were already out here doing the work every day.

I also saw a serious disconnect between drivers and dispatchers. As a driver, I understand the long days, time away from family, Hours of Service, waiting at shippers and receivers, unexpected problems, and the pressure of keeping a business profitable while still getting home safely.

I watched owner-operators and small carriers put everything into their businesses, yet sometimes work with people who did not understand life on the road—or who were more interested in making money from the driver than helping the driver make money.

I wanted to build a dispatching company based on honesty, communication, transparency, and trust—where owner-operators and small carriers know someone on the other end understands the road, respects the person behind the wheel, and works to protect the business they have built.
